At TrimCore, we want you to shop with confidence. If you are not fully satisfied with your order, you may return it in accordance with the policy below.

1. 30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy. This means you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • unused or only minimally handled to inspect it
  • in its original packaging where possible
  • complete with all included parts and accessories
  • in a resellable condition

We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if an item is returned used, damaged, incomplete, or in a condition that lowers its value beyond what is necessary to inspect it. UK guidance allows a trader to reduce a refund for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

2. Your UK Cancellation Right

If you purchase from us online, you also have a legal right under UK consumer law to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, even if the item is not faulty. After telling us you want to cancel, you then have another 14 days to send the goods back.

Our 30-day return policy is in addition to your legal rights.

3. How to Start a Return

To request a return, please email info@trimcore.co.uk with:

  • your full name
  • order number
  • the email address used for the order
  • the reason for the return

Once your return is approved, we will provide return instructions.

Items sent back without contacting us first may not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit unless we arranged the return.

5. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item is damaged, faulty, incorrect, or missing parts, contact us as soon as possible at info@trimcore.co.uk so we can resolve the issue.

If an item is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under your legal rights. Citizens Advice notes that when something has gone wrong with an item, a consumer may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement.

6. Non-Returnable Items

We may refuse returns for:

  • items returned after the 30-day return period
  • items that have been damaged through misuse
  • items missing key components or accessories
  • items returned in an unsanitary or heavily used condition
  • any products that are clearly personalised or custom-made, if applicable

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, misdescribed, or otherwise do not comply with consumer law.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be made to your original payment method. Where a consumer validly cancels an online order, UK rules generally require the refund to be made without undue delay and within 14 days, although a trader may wait until the goods are returned or evidence of return is provided.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to process and post the refund.

Original delivery charges are refundable where required by law in the case of a valid statutory cancellation, but additional delivery surcharges, such as premium or expedited shipping upgrades, may not be refunded beyond the basic standard delivery cost. This follows the UK distance-selling cancellation framework.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund yet:

  • check your bank account again
  • contact your card provider or payment provider
  • contact your bank, as processing times can vary

If you have done all of the above and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@trimcore.co.uk.

9. Cancellations Before Dispatch

If you need to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible at info@trimcore.co.uk. If the order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to cancel it and issue a full refund.

If the order has already been dispatched, you will need to follow the return procedure above.
